A common use of Flows is to update records based on criteria before saving to simplify data entry e.g. to create standard names for an object.

Example – Update related record
Updating fields on related records are typically done through Flows or Formulas. Simple Flow to update a field on the Contact records based on changing a field on the Account page.

Example – Basic record triggered email Flow
