Designed for the realities of Addiction support
eCASS was developed by Enclude, in collaboration with Quality Matters, MQI and CoolmineTC, specifically for the Irish addiction sector. It provides an affordable, efficient information management system to addiction services working at all levels of the NDRF (National Drugs Rehabilitation Framework).
Best Practice
Using eCASS means you’re following and adhering to sector best practice. Whether in terms of data protection, client journeys or reporting.
Reliable Reporting
Relevant reports can be generated at the click of a button and based upon the latest information. Standardisation and anonymisation of data means reporting can be shared across services. This makes it easier to meet statutory reporting requirements, as well as spot trends.
Community of Practice
Development of the system is meaningful and relevant, driven by the Community of Practice made up of Enclude clients from the sector.
What is it?
eCASS provides addiction services with the ability to record, update, share, track and report on their data in way that is easy, consistent, secure and in line with service best practice.
The solution is packaged with training from Enclude, along with access to our excellent CRM Membership Service to provide ongoing support. It’s also scalable, meaning that as you grow, functionality can be added to ensure the system is always working hard for you.
Who needs it?
Any registered charity that provides services to support those experiencing addiction and needs a straightforward and secure way to maintain client records to provide consistent and reliable service.
They need to record and share information such as client contact details and staff diaries as well as manage, track and report on referrals, assessments and care plans. They have complex reporting and compliance requirements. It provides a single source of data as well as extensive reporting capabilities, including charts, graphs and more.
How does it work?
eCASS is a Salesforce configuration, that was designed by Enclude specifically for the Irish addiction sector. It allows addiction services and projects to get a service relevant CRM up and running more quickly, and cost effectively.
The system allows users to do everything a standard CRM does (managing contacts, tasks, calendars, resources), PLUS record incoming and onward referrals, enrol clients on programmes offered, schedule and register attendance at group sessions and one-to-one interventions, record session notes, helpline calls and needle exchanges. It also can be used for Case Management, recording care plan objectives and goals, and the interventions linked to these.
It does all this securely, allowing you to assign different levels of access to different users, ensuring your clients’ data is always protected and only available to those who need to see it.
Why do clients like it?
- eCASS supports joined-up reporting – it enables services to easily share data about substance misuse in their area and to enhance understanding of service user needs and substance misuse trends across a wide geographic region.
- The data set it collects fulfils statutory reporting requirements.
- All data collected can be reported / shared anonymously and does not include any personal details, like phone number or home address.
- Clients are invited to be part of the active eCASS Community of Practice, which meets 9 times each year. This group meets to review and discuss challenges and changes within the addiction sector, as well as discuss future eCASS functionality and development.
“eCASS has strengthened our ability to advocate for our work by giving us clearer, more consistent data.”
